I am from Chania in Greece. I took my diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). I hold also a Master in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich). I completed my doctoral thesis at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm on June 2023, under the supervision of Prof. Mikael Skoglund. My research focused on the computation of the communication requirements in a genera class of modern Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems. For more details about my research and my thesis, see Publications and Doctoral Thesis. I recently attended the 11-week online program Business Analytics: Decision-Making Using Data of University of Cambridge.
My current interests are summarized as following:
the theoretical and practical aspects of modern Communication Networks and modern Computer Systems,
the application of different concepts and tools from the fields of Statistics and Decision-Making for designing robust AI systems; the communication and computational aspects of modern AI systems,
the economic and policy aspects of modern Digital Services.
In my free time, I love travelling and participating in trail running races. Moreover, I enjoy reading and having discussions about philosophy. My favourite authors, Henri Bergson and Gilles Deleuze have not stopped to inspire me during the years. Awaiting also for the lectures of Henri Bergson, dedicated to the evolution of the problem of freedom, the history of the idea of time and the history of theories of memory, which will be published for the first time in English, (Bloomsbury, 2024, 2025, 2026).
